If I had to chose someone to give an award to for being a complete and utter moron it would have to be my brother's soon-to-be ex wife. She wants a divorce because apparently my brother doesn't "adore" her enough. Yeah... those are her words. That and she needs to "find herself." Sounds more like she needs to pull her head out of her @$$.
I'm sorry, little brother, that you had to get your heart broken by someone that really was never worth your time in the first place.

Bad News

I think I've reached my quota of bad news for the day.

Oooooh yeaaaaaaaah!

I just got back from a 45 minute run. If you are a runner then you know, like I do, that you have some days when you feel awesome, like you could just run forever. Then you have those days when you feel like shit. As soon as you start running you feel like stopping and calling it quits. Today was a Wonderwoman day. I took full advantage of it too. I ran hills on the way out and on the way back on my usual route around the neighborhood. My legs felt like Jello by the time I was done and I felt a little light headed, but it was such a good run! I still feel like I could go back out and do it again too. I wish I felt like this every day.

Three more weeks...

Well, it looks like I made it through another week of quant. Two weeks down, three more to go!

Dissappearing

If you don't hear from me in the next five weeks it's because of my summer class. We just started yesterday and have already been assigned seven chapters to read, two homework sets (one due Fri, one Mon) and a lab proposal. We have a quiz Friday and our first test Tue. I won't have ANY time to do ANYTHING so don't ask. I'll see you in June!

We have a new nurse in the family.

Splish Splash

I started some field work today with a professor from school. We went to two different local streams and checked on some tiles that he had put in them to see if fish had made nesting sites on them. We took notes as to whether females had lay any eggs and whether the nest was being guarded by a male. If a male was in the nest we measured his length and clipped a piece from his fin (both to mark him and to have a sample for genetic analysis.) We caught several females and two males to do some observations in the lab. I'm supposed to go back out Friday morning.

I checked my final grade in environmental conservation today. I got an A on that final as well. Yay!

A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

I got an A on my cell biology final! Yaaaaaaaaay! I took my environmental conservation final today. It wasn't that bad. I'm sure I got an A on that as well. I'm done with finals!

We took my supervisor out for dinner tonight. This was her last semester working at USI so we had a going away dinner for her. We went to Angelo's. The food was pretty good. Katy ended up paying for our dinner, which wasn't supposed to happen. The server wouldn't give us separate checks and the server gave the check to Katy's husband so he just payed it. We were supposed to be taking HER out to dinner, so she wasn't supposed to pay four OUR food! Oh well. After dinner, my friend Heather and I went and saw a movie. I can't remember what it was called but it was pretty good. Anyway, it's late, WAY passed my bedtime so I should get to sleep.
