Ah, the joys of stress!
Okay, so it's the week before finals. In some schools this is referred to as dead week and teachers do not give tests this week. At my school this is not dead week. It is the week when we take our last lecture tests and all of our lab finals. I had a lab final yesterday and a lecture test today. I don't know how I did on the lecture test but I got a 96.5 on my lab final. YAY! I've been really stressed out this week so I'm happy to have those tests over with. Two down, two to go. I have two finals next week, luckily only one is cumulative.
I have to write a paper for my humanities class and I'm having a hard time getting started. I don't have to write very often so it's always a chore when I have to do it. Getting started is ALWAYS the hardest part. Robin, you know you want to write it for me. he he
Okay, so I'm done rambling... here's a quote I stole off of my friend's profile:
"Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'who am I to be so brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?' Actually, who are we not to be? You are a child of God: Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our prsence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Williamson
